## WHY ARE ITEMS IMPORTANT?

<mark style="color:red;">**Items are a central element in the fight strategy**</mark> developed by the cyber-yakuza. To become the strongest cyber-yakuza, the player must get a maximum of items, upgrade them, and be able to equip them on his cyber-yakuza.

The player needs to find the BEST SETUPS to win fights and thus optimize his earnings.

## ITEMS CATEGORIES

There is 3 categories of items:

<mark style="color:red;">**Level up items (8 levels) by combining 3 identical items.**</mark> The upgrade has a probability of success.

Each item can be used to improve the cyber-yakuza chance to win fights.

## OBTAINING ITEMS - ROB BOXES

There are two ways to find items:

* The cyber-yakuza has a chance to racket "rob boxes" containing valuable items <mark style="color:red;">**during his daily outdoor street missions**</mark><mark style="color:red;">.</mark> (see section "rob boxes").
* Items can also be bought <mark style="color:red;">**at the marketplace**</mark> from other players.

## HOW TO USE ITEMS

Level up your cyber-yakuza to equip up to five items for fights:&#x20;

As your cyber-yakuza advances in level, he will be able to equip more items in battle. In order to use higher level items, your cyber-yakuza must reach a specific level requirement.&#x20;

For instance, once your cyber-yakuza reaches level 30, he will be able to unlock the use of 3 items, and these items can be up to level 5.

## ITEMS BONUSES IN FIGHTS

Using powerful items will increase the player's chance to win fights:

* <mark style="color:red;">**Bonus points for each item equipped on a cyber-yakuza:**</mark> The bonus points are directly linked to one of the three attributes: Strength, Aggressivity or Instinct, and a defined number of points are added to the corresponding attribute.
* <mark style="color:red;">**Bonus points for Clan Item category:**</mark> Each clan is associated with a particular item type, and the bonus points are exclusive to that clan when the corresponding item is in use :
  * <mark style="color:green;">**DRAGON CLAN**</mark> cyber-yakuza gets a bonus when using a <mark style="color:green;">**WEAPON**</mark>
  * <mark style="color:green;">**ONI CLAN**</mark> cyber-yakuza gets a bonus when using a <mark style="color:green;">**BIOTECH**</mark>
  * <mark style="color:green;">**LOTUS CLAN**</mark> cyber-yakuza gets a bonus when using a <mark style="color:green;">**MARTIAL ART**</mark>
* <mark style="color:red;">**Bonus points for COMBOS:**</mark> A specific sequence of three items, when combined in the right order, creates a COMBO, offering the cyber-yakuza additional bonus points. Discovering these COMBOS is left to the player's discretion.
